Dave -
Yup. I recognize the "angle" by the stern of the boat in the second picture, that's where Paul went "splash". But I don're recognize the street view. Is the fountain with the ship the front of the Princess?
I remember Paul's splash very wel…
Lost my bearings. Is this the side by the road? Was Smatz's Cycle Shop to the right?
How was Will? Lady Jessica? Last saw Sir Harry & Lady Jessica in 1988.

Hi Jim,
It's been fun looking at all your old pictures. I remember you taking many of them but I never thought that I'd ever see them again. This site is a fantastic idea!
That was the same day Jock Wright came strutting down the dock like a sailor and tripped. I remember E.G. Marshall looking nautical and holding the wheel with one hand.
Do you remember when E.G. Marshall used Tabor Boy for his television show? I believe it was the "Defenders"
If I remember correctly it was at NewPort. My faith in television was forever changed when they nailed the cue cards to the dock and he had trouble reading them.
Hi Jim, I just saw this on the TA webset. I enjoyed your photos very much. If I can figure out how I'll try to add a few. Best to Tam and the girls.
P.S. Glad to see comments by Chan and "Flash"
What fun to connect with this mutual admiration society (I'm speaking, of course, of the Tabor Boy! I had lunch a few months ago with Dave Williams, and he looks great. Hope all is well with you, and family. Thank you for the Christmas card, and do hope we reciprocated. I'm dusting off the old photos, so stay tuned. All best.
Mr. Potdevin,
These pictures are excellent! I've always herd stories about the "old" Schooner days, and some of the pictures that you've posted really put them into perspective.
By the way, would you happen to know a guy who goes by the name of Barney. He was talking to me pretty recently about his experiences sailing the Tabor Boy in the 70's, and some of the things he was talking about were in your pictures.
Any ways, Thank you for posting them!
Welcome aboard and thanks for posting this amazing portfolio of images.
Your images have made a huge contribution to The Tabor Boy Project and the story of this amazing ship and the lives that have been changed by her programs.
